When we look around us today, we realize that almost 99.9% of the people in our relations and families are suffering from some disease or the other. Whether it is a serious disease, a lifestyle disease, or a weak immune system, all this is happening due to our wrong lifestyle and not following healthy habits.
The current state of our health
- According to a WHO report, every year 52% of people in India suffer from diseases due to poor lifestyle. According to WHO, heart disease, cancer, diabetes and lung diseases are the leading causes of deaths worldwide.
- Every four minutes in India, one person loses his life due to stroke. This disease usually occurs in people above 65 years of age, but it has also been seen in 31% of cases in India up to 20 years.
- Currently, people are suffering from various diseases not only in India but also globally.
- According to a study, 99.9% of families are regularly using allopathic medicines, whether it is for children, adults, or the elderly.
- Another worrying fact is that people are dying suddenly at the age of 60 or 70. All this is happening due to our wrong lifestyle and not following healthy habits.
Importance and need of Yoga:
Our ancient yoga knowledge, which we have left behind, not only promotes physical health but also shows us the path to live a healthy life. Yoga not only improves physical health but also provides mental and emotional balance. Regular yoga practice reduces stress, increases immunity, and reduces the risk of lifestyle diseases.
